One of my favorite childhood memories was laying out in the yard under the Wild Cherry tree on a blanket gazing up at the sky and visualizing the different shapes of the clouds. A lion..., a sheep..., a dog or cat. After a while my intent gazing would give in to a lazy afternoon nap in the shade of that big ole tree. Ummmm, what precious, sweet memories.
As summer gave way to autumn, thoughts of 'back to school' filled my mind with all the structure of waking to the alarm clock, making it to school on time (with all my homework), math class, history class, english and science!
These days as I'm settling back into the structure of my fall routine my thoughts are racing toward new fashion and jewelry trends, colors, designs and so much more. As I search for new and interesting materials and techniques, I'm anxious to get started on my 2015 Fall and Christmas line. Be sure to watch for photo posts as new items are introduced. I'm excited and I think you will be too.
I'd love to host an open gallery in my home sometime before Christmas. Please let me know if that's something you'd like to be part of.
What's the old saying? 'If you're not moving forward, you're backing up'. Well, I'm not about to 'back up' so I chose to move forward after discovering that having my studio in my home was a better fit for me at this time than being in a retail setting. My studio and gallery are back at home for now and you are welcome to come visit me any time. Just give me a call to set up a convenient time and I'll put on the coffee!
Blessings to all,
'They shall be mine', says the Lord of hosts, 'on the day that I make them my Jewels.'
Remember: Your are His Treasured Jewel, loved and cherished.
